My design style is playful and colourful, and also I have a massive fascination for pattern design and symbols.
I have a wide range of interests in digital design, handcraft, inclusive design and social design. I would like to deepen my relationship with society by using my design skill as a tool.
Apart from my profession, I enjoy trying different artistic expressions such as weaving, rubber stamping, and ZINE making with risograph print.
While in Germany, I participated in various projects and activities.
2015: started working with local Japanese artists as a craft team OMEN to express and create Japanese subcultures and handicrafts. Planned and held workshops at local elementary schools and community spaces.
2018: Launched a textile brand alt with a London-based designer. Selling products made from original textiles online and at design fairs in the UK.
2019: Found the art book collective ANDPRESS with artists living in Germany, France and Belgium, and showcased artworks at art book fairs and other events.
2019: Participated as a staff member in an artist residence no-mu organised by an artist Eikoh Tanaka in Kameoka, Kyoto. Took charge of design production and workshop planning.
